I look at pictures of myself and see how far I have come. I also remember that this is about me and only me. I have the power to make another choice and I know it will work because it has worked :-) Beating myself up doesn't accomplish anything. No regrets! Life is too short and unpredictable!

Honestly this app has given me the most motivation. Knowing I have the support and encouragment from everyone on here is what keeps me from not wanting to give up!

I don't think about weight at all. I focus on feeling good. I ask my body what it wants. And it tells me with pictures/visions and feelings. It's a conscious conversation with my body. Jessica, thank u so much for your comments on my posts! I have enough gratitude for the rest of my life. If nothing ever good happens again (good will happen tho) I've already been blessed by so many amazing experiences. Thank You! U are a good friend! ;)

I remind myself that anything worth achieving takes time, effort and PATIENCE! I once had the opportunity to interview my favorite celebrity in person and I asked, "when you think about everything you have accomplished with your craft/talent and the journey you experienced and are experiencing what would you say was the most important mindset you had to remember...and the answer given was, "patience, definitely patience". That favorite celebrity of mine was YOU, Jessica. I always remember not only your answer but the thought you put into it before you answered. Anyway, when I don't achieve my weight loss goal I remember to exercise patience :) Thank you for always inspiring!!!

I like all these answers. I have a friend who is trying to lose weight with me. I’m doing well and she is not. It’s very hard to help her stay motivated when she is struggle so much. I have to visualize a lot…think about where I want to be and stay focused on that. And plateaus stink, especially when you get stuck there for more than a week.

I don't set goals for myself. I just move. If I am busy moving around I don't thing about stuff and don't eat junk. No time for it. Although not having time, means I also can't cook healthy stuff, but even when I eat less well I eat smaller portions. With me , being an emotional eater, keeping busy and just trying to walk. A lot. and fast. is the key. then the weight goes away or doen't come back. My key is to not think about it. I don't think I would do good with goals.
